Iran and Iranian general were behind USS Liberty attack, not Israel, an anonymous U.S. official claims
The official story goes that during the 1967 Six-Day War, a conflict in which US wanted to remain neutral, Israel launched a strike on a U.S. naval vessel in international waters; thirty four were killed, 171 were injured, and the ship suffered extensive damage. For the past 53 years the attack was labeled by both US and Israeli governments an “accident” — but according to the stunning revelation by an U.S. official, who decided to remain anonymous, the real perpetrator behind the attack was Iran together with Qasem Soleimani, an Iranian general that was recently assassinated by the US government.
This comes in light of other revelations suggesting the Qasem Solemani was behind Benghazi and that he had assisted 10 out of the 12 terrorists who carried out September 11 terrorist attack in the US.
The anonymous U.S. official stated that “there is no doubt” that Qasem Soleimani and Iran were behind the USS Liberty attack:
“Among some far-right and far-left circles, there is this popular belief — an anti-semitic conspiracy theory — that Israel was behind the USS Liberty attack, when in fact the one to blame all along was Qasem Soleimani and Iran,” the U.S. Official said. “There is no doubt they were behind it. It’s very important for people to be aware of the facts surrounding the matter, both in light of recent events in regards to him and Iran, and the growing anti-semitism in our country.”
When asked for evidence to back up the claims, the U.S. official referred to classified government documents and said:
“There’s plenty of evidence. You wouldn’t believe how much evidence there is — but I can’t share it, as it’s all classified. It’s why I’m speaking anonymously.”
After the reporter pointed out that there are government documents showing that Israel was behind the likely incidental USS Liberty attack, and that there is a CIA document from 1967 which quoted an anonymous source claiming that Israeli defense Minister Moshe Dayan ordered the attack on the ship, while one of his generals was opposed to the action and said “This is pure murder,” the U.S. official responded:
“Jesus, do I really need to explain why we do these things? I have a migraine. Trump ordered an attack on Suleimani and we’ve been scrambling to justify it. We need this, okay? It’s been a bad week. Just let us have this one.”
The US official also stated that “there is some proof” that Qasem Soleimani “might have been” or “perhaps could have been” associated with early rise of Hitler.
Before this reporter could point out that Qasem Soleimani was born years after Hitler’s death — perhaps it’s a different Hitler? — the US official ended the conversation.
While the details of the story surrounding the reasoning of attack against Soleimani are still uncertain, what’s evident is that he was involved in Benghazi, USS Liberty attack, and may have helped the rise of Hitler — he was a terrorist, a warmonger, and US did the right thing regardless of potential consequences it may result in.
